I love developing solutions to make a home or business run smoothly, efficiently, and, just
as importantly pleasing to the senses. I consider myself a Creative Director. The more challenging the task, the more enjoyable it is because there’s nothing like a great transformation! And though I take great pleasure in decluttering, I am not a minimalist. I’m an intentionalist! It’s a word I made up, and it means being surrounded by things you love, need, or use. Doesn’t that sound relieving? <- (One of my favorite words.)
For the record:
-
I LOVE kids and families, and I recently received doula training to support parents before, during, and after childbirth.

-
I personify most things, like the 160-year-old cottage my husband and I live in, which we affectionately call The Crooked Old Lady because her floors have a 3-inch difference from one end to the other.

-
My favorite thing is to forage for unique pieces at Flea Markets and Thrift stores.

-
The two most common comments I receive are, “You look familiar." It seems I have a common face. The other is, “You're very calm,” which I appreciate hearing because I do my best to bring stability and kindness wherever I am.

-
My television debut was on one of the longest-standing children's shows, Romper Room. Rumor has it that while Miss Nancy was looking through the magic mirror and calling out names, I was in the background picking my nose. I never got called back from an agent.
-
I’ve been married to my husband, Mark, for a long time, and people often ask how we’ve stayed married. My answer, though I believe we've both earned gold stars every anniversary, it’s a God thing!
Thanks for checking out my page.
Peace to you,
Kathleen
